#UnreadyTour Tuesday May 12
Nashville is an awesome city. Last night we hung out at "The Whiskey Jam," a popular writers' round in midtown. We heard some seriously badass players. Today we spent the morning visiting with a few old college friends before heading to our last public school gig in Tennessee.
Creek Wood High School students are lucky.
Their band director, Dan is a cool dude and their principal is a Nashville picker who is in the process of building the school its very own recording studio. We played in the auditorium for another welcoming, enthusiastic crowd and slung a bit of merch afterward.
After the high school show it was onward to "The Bridge" at the Renaissance downtown where we played 5 tunes for their writers' round. Turns out there are a lot of people writing songs in Nashville… Good time, made some new friends.
A few adult beverages at 3 Crows Bar on the east side and we were ready to get some shut eye and head to Birmingham in the morning.
BIG THANKS TO OUR FRIEND ADDY FOR PUTTING US UP IN HER HOTEL ROOM IN NASHVILLE AND FOR SPENDING HER VACATION HANGING OUT WITH US. Pretty nice view of music city from the room→
